Iittala Glass Factory

Take a virtual tour in the museum and at the glass factory!

Take a virtual tour in Japanese!

The story of Iittala began in 1881 when a glass factory was founded in the village of Iittala. That is where the world-famous design history of Iittala begins. The factory is still operating, and it is where the best known Finnish glass design artefact, Alvar Aalto’s Aalto or Savoy vase, is made.

The factory is nowadays part of the Fiskars Corporation.
