We aim for a better and more sustainable future, and therefore recycled materials play an ever-growing role in our production. Our recycled glass collection has been continuously developed, tested and expanded, and now grows with the Ultima Thule tumbler, manufactured from 100% recycled glass at the Iittala Glass Factory in Finland. As a result of the continuous research, revolutionary forms of design make their entrance as the recycled ceramic Teema mug sees the light of day. Also, the Meno felt bags turn into 100 % recycled polyester.

Vintage service

When one chapter ends, we want to enable another beginning. Since 2019 Iittala Vintage service has given people the opportunity to pass on everyday glass and tableware. Old tableware gets a new life when brought to our stores, and customers can discover vintage pieces from our ever-evolving in-store collection.

Now active in Finland and Sweden, our Vintage service is expanding to new territories in the coming years. And as the world is constantly evolving, so are we. Developing our services is based on the changing needs and wants of our customers.

Part of the circular economy

Fiskars Group’s target is that the majority of their revenue comes from circular products and services. As part of Fiskars Group, Iittala aims for sustainable business by manufacturing 100% recycled products and minimizing waste, with the goal of all waste from Iittala's own operations being recycled or reused with no waste sent to landfills by 2030. This target has already been reached at the Iittala Glass Factory in Finland.
