Pre-launch 2023 Tundra

Designed by Oiva Toikka in 1970, Tundra is a tactile and nostalgic glassware collection inspired by the harsh Arctic wilderness. The design draws inspiration from the demanding conditions in the Arctic tundra, showcasing multiple unique small patterns that together create a compelling entity and structure.

Now we’ve brought the Tundra glassware back into production and added it to our continuous collection. Each Tundra item is produced at the Iittala Glass Factory in Finland. The four new items – two glasses, a plate and a bowl – are available as a pre-launch only in Iittala stores and at iittala.com.

Pre-launch 2023 Alvar Aalto Collection

In 2023, Iittala celebrates Alvar Aalto’s 125th birthday by bringing back two vases from the original Alvar Aalto collection.

Based on Alvar Aalto’s sketch series from 1936, the vases are mouthblown at the Iittala Glass Factory in Finland. Available in smoky grey, Rio brown, clear or clear 1937 (one of the original Alvar Aalto Collection colour shades). Each glass shade perfectly represents our unique expertise in coloured glass.

The new 180 mm Aalto vases are perfect for smaller bouquets, or for holding a single stem of your favourite flower. Available now, only in Iittala stores and at iittala.com.
