Legendary Finnish designer Oiva Toikka’s love for experimenting led to the groundbreaking raised droplet design of Kastehelmi. In 1964, Toikka was determined to find a pattern that would hide the joint marks in pressed glass. The result was Kastehelmi (“dewdrop” in Finnish) which features rings of delicate glass droplets designed to resemble strings of dewdrops glistening under the morning sun. The beloved Kastehelmi collection offers a wide range of playful pieces that are both functional and decorative.
