A few years ago Iittala and Oiva Toikka started to plan a relaunch of Toikka’s Fruits and Vegetables collection and his Frutta glassware. Both of these collections are great examples of beloved Oiva Toikka’s limitless imagination, whimsical designs and use of wild colours. Like in other Oiva Toikka’s glass works the thorough understanding of the nature of glass together with Iittala’s master glassblowers brought the playful and colourful elements of nature to life.
“I’m not looking for perfection.
I want it to be fun.” Oiva Toikka
