Terms for the Share Myiittala Image Campaign

These terms (“Terms”) govern the Share Myiittala Image Campaign (“Campaign”), which is organized to engage and share inspiration with Myiittala members. By entering the Campaign, the individual wishing to participate in the Campaign (“Participant”) agrees to be bound by the Terms.

1. Organizer of the Campaign

The Campaign is organized by Fiskars Finland Oy Ab, Keilaniementie 10, FI-02150 Espoo, Finland, Business ID: 1903608-9 (“Organizer”).

2. Duration of the Campaign

The Campaign begins on 1.10.2022 and ends on 31.12.2023 (“Use Period”).

3. Who can participate

Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time they participate in the Campaign. The Organizer reserves the right to verify any Participant’s eligibility and reject Participants at its sole discretion. No purchase is required in order to participate in the Campaign.

4. How to participate

The Organizer will send invitations by email to Myiittala members who have consented to receive marketing communications asking them to share images of how they use Iittala, Arabia, Moomin by Arabia or Rörstrand products. Participants are asked to submit images by email to sharemyiittala@fiskars.com. By sharing images the Participant consents to the Organizer using the images in its channels; such as newsletter, website, social media of its brands that participate in the Myiittala program, including Iittala, Arabia, Moomin by Arabia and Rörstrand (“Channels”).

5. Right to Use Images

By entering the Campaign, the Participant gives the Organizer, without separate compensation, a limited right to use the images in the Organizer’s marketing executions globally on the Channels. The Organizer may, though is not obliged to, publish the images at any time, at its sole discretion, in the Channels during the Use Period. No compensation or attribution will be given to the Participant, nor will the Participant’s identity be revealed. Images will be deleted from the Organizer’s files and Channels after the Use Period, to the extent possible.

6. Processing of personal data in connection with the Campaign

If you choose to participate in this image sharing Campaign, your personal data will be processed by the Organizer for the purposes of collecting and sharing images on the Channels for inspiration. The images will be published without any reference to you. The Organizer may use the images actively during the Use Period, after which the images will be deleted, to the extent possible. 7. Liability

The Organizer is not liable for any indirect damages or damages that the Organizer could not reasonably have foreseen and is not liable for damages caused by third parties or reasons not attributable to the Organizer (such as interruption of the Campaign or damages attributable to a failure in network connections/communications). The Organizer accepts no responsibility whatsoever for damage or loss resulting from late, misdirected or incomplete submissions. By taking part in the Campaign the Participant warrants that all information submitted is true, current and complete at the time of submission. Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or modifies, or purports to limit, exclude or modify, statutory consumer guarantees as provided under applicable mandatory consumer laws.

8. Participant Warranties and Representations

  • the Participant has created the images submitted, and if the images have been created by a third party, has received from said third party their consent to submit the images to the Campaign in accordance with these Terms;
  • the images do not infringe the law, are not in breach of good practice or the rights of third parties (including copyrights and other intellectual property rights and privacy of other persons), do not harm the good name or personal integrity of others, do not divulge any trade secrets, as well as that the images are not, in any other way or form, contrary to these Terms;
  • any persons appearing in the images have given their permission for the submission to the Campaign in accordance with these Terms; and
  • no third parties' trademarks are visible in the images (e.g., a third party's logo appearing in images).

9. Changes to the Campaign or Terms

The Organizer will notify the Participants through the Campaign marketing channels if the Organizer needs to make material changes to the Campaign, dates, availability or other factors. The Organizer reserves the right to change the Campaign and Terms in a way that does not have a material impact on Participants without prior notice to Participants.
