They are here — our new feathered friends. Though made of glass, they are full of character. The moss green Leppäinen and pine green Long-eared owl are every birder's go-to choice. They are spectacular both on their own and in a flock, mouth-blown in our glassworks in Finland, and each one is a unique work of art.
While we take utmost pride in their timeless design, every now and then Iittala discontinues certain products, sizes, or colours. Yet the combinability of all Iittala products means that even if an object is discontinued, it will still fit with any current and future objects.
Since establishing our glass factory in Finland in 1881, we have been pioneers of avant-garde design and coloured glass.
Hint of pink and lots of personality. The seasonal colour Teema rose is full of character and is the star of any table setting.
The exhibition is open at the Iittala & Arabia Design Centre in Helsinki until 25th of August 2024.
