It is part of the Oiva Toikka’s Wonderful World collection and is now available in a gorgeous pink-green colour. The plate was originally designed for Arabia Pro Arte in the 1980s and is still a timeless work of art for a modern home. It is the perfect choice for serving appetisers and delicacies, bringing a touch of colour and elegance to the table. The Helle plate can also be combined with pieces from other Iittala series such as Teema. You can create your own collection by combining different colours and models, or you can choose the complete Helle series for your table.

Oiva Toikka

Oiva Toikka (1931-2019) is one of the great personas of Finnish glass design. His imaginative, rich and bold glass art is a departure from mainstream Nordic design. Toikka’s individual style is also evident in the utility objects he creates as they often deviate from the traditional clean-lined puritanism of Finnish design aesthetics. In addition to glass, his artistic activities cover staging, fashion design and plastic interior design elements.
